ABOUT

artist.

I am a New York based theater producer and self proclaimed Shakespeare nerd who strives to tell female driven narratives and reimagined versions of ‘classic’ stories.

leader.

I am an arts manager, educator, and entrepreneur focused on increasingly accessibility in the theater and helping artists advocate for their work.

optimist.

It’s a beautiful day to be alive. A mantra of mine.

About

I'M AN OLD SOUL...

with a librarian for a mom, so I love learning and can format a mean bibliography. I was born in small suburb outside Atlanta, and made the big move to LA when I was just a preteen, where I've lived for the past 10 years. In the Fall of 2021, I made the move to New York City to live out my theater nerd dreams. In my cozy (small) NYC apartment between the piles of polaroid pictures, you can also find funky thrifted jackets, journals detailing future travel plans, and a stack of plays overdue from the library (sorry mom!). I enjoy long walks accompanied by the hosts of the My Favorite Murder and Shakespeare Unlimited podcasts. I love to travel and feel the history of different places, like The Globe theatre in London or the rich jungle of Costa Rica, and everywhere in between. It’s experiences like those that drive my daydreams of adventures yet to be had, stories yet to be told, and people yet to be met. I also love reading at home with my cat Patsy (yes, after Patsy Cline).

I recently graduated cum laude from UCLA’s School of Theatre, Film, and Television with a degree in theater and entrepreneurship. At UCLA, I was class president, Artistic Director of the Shakespeare Company, and lead producer on the 2021 Undergraduate Showcases. I have worked for many theaters across Los Angeles including Center Theatre Group, Antaeus Theatre Company, and A Noise Within. Since moving to New York City, I have interned with Jujamcyn Theaters in their Theater Ops Department, signed on to produce 2 new shows Off-Off Broadway, and am preparing to start a Press Internship with Boneau/Bryan-Brown this spring.

Increasing accessibility to the arts is at the heart of all of my work, and I aspire to become a leading creative producer in the theater industry. I would also love to start my own theater company one day. When I'm not at the theater, I run my own website design agency, MAD Web Design, where my mission is to help artists and creatives develop an authentic digital presence.
